Today i noticed our budgie has something white in the one "nose" hole She dosent look sick and is very active and happy.
We are just worried...
I dont have a picture since my phone is out of reach atm.
I hope she will sneeze it out ? Is this normal for a budgie to sometimes have a littel snot or it can be dust and debris ?
Again she dosent look sick at all.
Here is some pictures from today. I used my mothers makeup mirror to see more clear. It dosent look like it is stuffed all the way up. But some kind of white stuff is inside the holes.

If you are worried about it and it doesn't get "sneezed" out, putting her in a steamy bathroom for a few minutes might help. I'd be careful about moving her from a warm bathroom to a cool room though. I've not noticed that on my two but Buddy usually will let out a little sneeze almost every day.

It could simply be a seed husk, as well. Is there any moisture at all? Any spray on her feathers above the offending nostril?
The only thing I would recommend if you wanted to clean it, or try to, is to roll the corner of a tissue or toilet paper square between your fingers to make a semi-firm taper and use this to try to clean her nostril, BUT if it is a seed husk you don’t want to push it further into her nostril. Unfortunately there isn’t any way to make a budgie sneeze, that I know of.

We cathed her and took a littel sponge with water on it and then we wiped her carefully on the nostril but it dident go way. Like you say we can try with a rolled up square of toilet paper if it gets worse. She also had a littel bath today where she got her head wet, so we hope that helps her. It dosent look like it bother her at all. But we keep a look out for her What do you mean with "spray on the offending nostril?" We dont spray her with water if thats what you mean.

Well, it is obviously not just a seed husk in the wrong place, an I would certainly try to clean away some of the muck from the nostril that looks to be fully blocked. Try the rolled tissue but if that doesn’t work and I doubt it will, it might be time for a steamy-shower sauna. Pop her in a little cage, steam up the bathroom with a hot water shower, closing all windows and doors, and put her in the bathroom to breathe the steamy air. Don’t put her where she can get wet, and check her every 5-10minutes or so to make sure she isn’t overheating. If you have a nebuliser, even better.

Allright we will try all this later today when we both are home to catch and hold her to clean it. And then we will do the bathroom sauna.
