I was told by the breeder these two budgies are a pair. After the female layed a few eggs I noticed the supposed male is also sitting on the eggs. Is it possible they are both females? What do you guys think? Thanks!

It's interesting because they were mating (or trying to mate) but so far the eggs are infertile.
We were so confused lol... 🤣

Nothing to do with the question (I agree with Marianne Marlow - two hens) but is that a hole in the beak of the second hen?

I don't think she had this before. Hmm... Is this bad? It depends on what has caused it. Keep an eagle eye on these two, make sure that the other hen doesn’t become aggressive.
