It's a 6 hour round trip jellybean, although that is where we got Willow from. OH may be more of a stumbling block than distance.

That's a long trek for me here on the South Coast. I hope they soon get a home/homes.

Yes, this is what came to my mind. I wont be driving to Aberdeen 1, I don't drive 2, I don't have a car 3, Aberdeen is more than 500 miles away! Maybe the Proclaimers could walk 500 miles, but I cannot. Do you actually mean... I MUST drive to Aberdeen, willowsmum?

I'm tentatively looking for an older budgie friend for Dexter and saw one in Dundee the other day and one in Bedford.. just a bit too far. There are so many babies looking for homes, or pairs of older birds but a single older bird seems quite rare at the moment.

I really do have a soft spot for normal greys. I have only ever had one and that was my dearly departed Roswell. Here he is from 2010 with his best friend Jerry

I would like a grey, and a normal green, at some point. Currently I am not broody, however, so unless someone comes directly to me to tell me they know a bud that needs a home I am staying safe from flock expansion. I did once joke to my Scottish colleague, "Planning any trips north any time soon?" To which she replied, "Why? Do you want me to bring back a bird?"

I cannot help but picture the nervous breakdown Mr Hibs would have if I introduced two more Eeyores ... I just cannot though, Aberdoom is too far.
