I'm glad Toby is feeling better. It's fine to give Guardian Angel and Calcivet at the same time - that's what the Bird Care Co recommended for Dean Stockwell.

blueelephant my little Buddy is also under the weather now. Poor little guy has a head full of pinnies - I've never seen so many on a bird's head at the same time! He's quieter and not coming to me to sit and play. He is playing some with Tweetie Pie, eating fine and singing so that is good. The weather has turned cooler (finally) and we are having foggy mornings which always makes them quieter. I've also got workmen here to redo my bathroom so they've not been out as much and a bit on edge with strangers going in and out.

They do make us worry these little birds! But hopefully he is on the mend now. No what you mean about the heating, am worried if it drops below a certain temperature if I should be worrying! So understand how you feel and why you relented!

They do become a bit mumpy when they moult and I always know when Nubby is not wanting to be sociable, but give it time he will come back to you. He just needs to get over the mopey moults! Hens are terrible for it! Be glad you have male birds lol

Toby has been quite noisy today which is lovely. Best I've seen him for ages. He has some massive big pins on his tummy. They are seriously huge. I never usually see pins on the tummy but these poke out from his feathers! No wonder he has been a grumpy pants.
