With AviPro, do I need to replace it multiple times in a day or should I just replace it when I give them new water the next day

You can add the Avipro to either the water or sprinkle a very small amount on the food. I sprinkle the Avipro on my budgies food - a very small amount.

Ah okay, Well I've put it in the water, but it's good to know I can put it in the food. An update on Loulou: he's regaining more of his balance - the only thing he struggles to do is preen and raise one leg up, but he's flying accurately, can balance on his perches, walk properly and climb.
He's still very tired though; active, but tired. Whenever he's not moving, or eating/drinking, he's sleeping (still puffed up). He's still singing, just quietly.

This sounds like progress to me. I just wish, probably as you do, we knew exactly what had happened!

This sounds like progress to me. I just wish, probably as you do, we knew exactly what had happened! That’s the scariest part. I have absolutely no clue what caused the injury. It looked large enough to bleed him out and yet I couldn’t find anything with blood or anything with any indication it had hurt him. Perhaps it was in a fight with the others? But he’s a bit bigger, and would probably win, and also, I’ve never observed them to be overly aggressive toward one another

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Loulou is doing a lot better and has returned to his normal self! He's playing, chirping and overall, seems to have made a full recovery. Just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful advice you guys gave me. Have a good day!
