Hi, I’ve noticed my budgie’s cere looks not normal and if anybody knows what could be wrong with her cere? she seems fine otherwise..doesn’t look in pain or seems uncomfortable and her breathing seems fine also heres a few pictures

As long as her nostrils stay clear you don’t need to worry. It is just a build up of the normal henny crusty cere of being in breeding condition. You can try rubbing a bit of food-grade oil into the cere in the hope that it will loosen and she will be able to rub it off herself. If this doesn’t happen just check her regularly to make sure that her nostrils stay clear. If the nares start to close up you will need to see a vet to help her get rid of the excess growth.

If you do rub oil into the cere, please make sure it does not go into her nostrils
