I've been looking for a few weeks now for a breeder.. and was struggling.
Today I found THREE..All with babies that I can choose from next week.. issue is I've seen one bird and fallen in love with him! But.. it's only from a photo, his breeder hasn't been the chattiest and when I asked for more pictures and videos this afternoon he said it would be tomorrow.. so.. I am leaving the ball in his court to see if he sends the pics and videos..his are bred in outdoor covered avairy I'll attach a photo of him though he's beautiful.. he said he was only 6 weeks though (bit young?) charge £40
2nd breeder BSocicety breeder. Spoke to him on the phone, very knowledgeable man. Said to ring him back when I'm ready to go and he'll tell me what he's got in.. charge £40
3rd a hobbiest. She has 2 breeding pairs- breeds them in separate cages.. there are 6 young ones ready to go, they are bred and raised in the home environment which I think is a bonus, will help a young bird settle into our house a bit easier I think.. charge £25 I like her communication and her set up but the birds just didn't make me go wow as much as the first.. but personality will shine through and then love..
Ideally I would go and vet all 3then make a choice. But they're in opposite directions of my home all atleast 1.5 drive away. Not ideal for me to do.. so my plan is to visit the lady Sunday.. see if I fall in love with any of them there... Failing that BSociety man because he just seemed a top budgie bloke.. you can tell when the man would have stayed on the phone to me all day.. then the final visit will be to the stunning looking lad and what's there.. but it's SO hard these days..
Sorry for the rant I'm so torn. I'll attach pics of the babies that I'll be seeing so you can all coo too
As we all love birds I'll attach photos of the ones I have and we can all coo over them lol.

I think I've done it.. 4th breeder in the mix now..£40 a bird apparently tamed but I am in contact with someone else who has a bird from him and she's a lovely little thing. I think I want to tame my own bird though.. it's all part of the fun

The first one looks like my Max I'm going to go to both places on Sunday and see how I feel and their set ups.. the second two pictures are all in the same home with a lady. Reared by their parents indoors.. to me this is a plus because they'll be used to the house noises.. £25 charge The first one is reared in an outdoor covered aviary he said. Advert says semi tame. I queried it he said not this one he's cheeky but is the same price as ones that are at £40.. so just going to have to go and see them and see how they are.. need to ask questions but I know I'll forget what to ask... Any visual red flags when I go to a breeders I need to be aware of?? Roll on Sunday
