French Moult An interview with Daniel Lüetolf. First of all, good question. Everyone is suffering from French moult. French mount is virus and you cannot fight against the virus, we can make a break and wait until the immune system fully recovered again. And he suggests its good to keep certain amount (he thinks) of birds with French mount virus To get like a sort of immunization in birds, it’s sort of vaccinations.

It's an interesting theory. I'll watch this later. Do you have any birds with French Moult mobassir?

Well, I watched the video.
He doesn't say all that much about French moult, just basically what the OP said above.
Also, I felt so sorry for a lot of the birds in the video. They were so overly feathered and big that they could barely fly. Some of them just sat at the bottom of the aviary and didn't move.

The interview is done by the OP and the YouTube channel is also theirs, I noticed.
I’m never a fan of exhibition budgies especially from the Northern Hemisphere, and these are no exception.

I also noticed this Hezz. Seems like they just joined the forum to try and get publicity for their youtube account. Some exhib types can be okay (but those are the smaller, healthier ones like my Snowy and Roswell were), but these ones have way too much feather. I don't know how they can see. The listless ones on the bottom of the aviary just made me feel sad. The interview is done by the OP and the YouTube channel is also theirs, I noticed. I’m never a fan of exhibition budgies especially from the Northern Hemisphere, and these are no exception.

I remember a trip to the pet shop I got Peri, Indie and Aster from where there were these huge-looking budgies that you could barely see in the aviary because they were sat really close to the floor. It was ridiculous.

So sad to see them like that and also when they can barely see due to the feathers obscuring their eyes.
