Daisy likes to sit on this swing a lot now. Especially at bedtime when she's supposed to go in. This morning I caught Iris chucking out all of the pellets from the seed trough one by one. I usually sprinkle a few in to vary their diet. Obviously not loved by Iris!!

Rebel Daisy - a bit of a Star Wars vibe there, for some reason. What pellets do you use, Marianne? I'm re-thinking my stance in view of Finrod's weight issue. Harrisons was recommended to me by the vet but it felt like a sales pitch

Perhaps Dinku can be BB8.
Harrisons superfine, I am not sure anyone eats any of them to be honest. But you could crush them and mix them with something.
I don't think Finrod's diet is the issue, you give them good grub. I think it's exercise and you're already adding milk thistle.

Finrod is lazier than he used to be, tis true. Active but not active enough, I guess.

Does he have a best friend?

Does he have a best friend? Finrod shares his best friend, Hector, with Mr Hibs. I've seen rivalry issues (minor ones). Hector is hardly a bundle of energy, of course! He gets chased away by Chocobo but it isn't a protracted chase and Finrod is allowed to settle elsewhere.

So he needs a more lively buddy to fly about with Oh gosh. Maybe I'd better go rescue another budgie!

Perry is going to have to get onto a work-out regimen, he's too used to having a desk-job right now.

Marianne Marlow I also sprinkle some Harrisons Superfine pellets in my guys morning food and with their sprouts. I've never seen Tweetie Pie eat them but Buddy will occassionally munch on them.

At least the pellets amuse Iris. If she's chucking pellets out then she cannot be dropping the seed troughs or water bowl.

That's a lovely picture. Daisy looks very comfortable there.
Dexter likes to chuck the pellets out of the food pot too. I suspect he doesn't eat any of them either.
Criswell used to eat them when he was out to play.

Yes, Harrisons pellets are a very expensive and amusing toy!
Daisy loves this spot and I have to dislodge her from it to get her to go to bed. I do ask nicely first!

If I offer pellets with anything else they'll get ignored in favour of the other food. I find it interesting that my lot prefer the lifetime pellets over the high potency.
Daisy looks like she's happy with her spot!
