I don't think anyone here knows me. Having forgotten the password to numerous accounts, I think I probably have six or seven different 'LoulouandScooby' accounts on here. Regardless, I've spent the last few years coming here with health concerns, and its the only place I know that clearly cares about budgies, so it's the only place I knew to vent.
Loulou died yesterday. He was the first budgie I ever had. He would have turned 8 next week.
I've lost quite a few over the 8 years, but Loulou's death hurts more than I could have imagined. Having him made the whole world feel a little bit nicer.
Goodbye Loulou.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hard to lose a friend after so long together.
Fly high Loulou. May you find your friends in the great wide millet fields.

So sorry for your loss. It is so very difficult to lose any budgie especially one where a strong bond exists between the two of you.

I'm so sorry you lost your special boy. I can imagine him over at Rainbow Bridge telling all he meets what a wonderful time he had here. Fly high Loulou, you will be missed.

It is always hard to lose a feathered friend and eight years of friendship makes for a sizeable hole left with their passing. My condolences for your loss.
Rest in peace, little Loulou. Your human(s) will miss you very much - you may have gone but will never be forgotten. Xx

I’m so sorry to hear this news Nothing hurt me more than losing my Tutu after 4 years together I can’t imagine how you must feel I’m so sorry I have no words People get shocked of how much we love these little feathery bundles of joy and love But can’t imagine life without them As you beautifully said that they make this life nicer and better I can’t agree more I wish you the best and hopefully other birdies will help get through the grief (that’s what helped me most) knowing that my other birds needed me to be strong
I hope this helped, I know nothing can ease the pain now wishing you the best Fly high dear beautiful Loulou ❤️🐥
