This Rainbow Bridge decoration is one of the items from my husband's business. I am not trying to advertise, so I will not post a link. Customers select which animal tokens they want on the side. He made this one with our deceased pets' names.
Storm and Spirit: Our two Green Cheek Conures who died in December 2022. We had them for less than eight months, including the times when we visited them at the breeder. Spirit was a female Cinnamon GC and Storm was a male Turquoise. They brought us a lot of joy in a short time.
Luna: A wonderful dog of unknown mixed breeds. We adopted her in 2015. She was already old, but she had as much energy as our younger adult dog. She always wanted to follow us around, sit/lie down near us, anything to be near us and our other dog. In 2018 she became ill. A veterinarian recommended that we euthanize her instead of trying any treatments.
Jamie: Dog, Cocker Spaniel. My family got her when I was a teenager. She joined my husband and I when we moved into our first place together. Sometimes she would visit my parents and the "family dog" (who stayed with them). She had a mostly quiet, timid personality, but she could be bold/pushy about a few things - wanting a little piece of pizza, for example. She died in 2014.

That's lovely Azalea. I can't read the poem as poems about my pets passed always make me cry. When my budgies die I have them cremated and I now tell them not to include the poem with the ashes as it's a real tear jerker but then I am a bit of a wimp!

This is a lovely idea & very well crafted. Your husband is talented! I thought you would like to know that just earlier this year they discovered & confirmed who the original author is - Edna Clyne-Rekhy, an 82-year-old artist from Scotland! Link to background story

That is very interesting sweetpea, thanks for posting. Just to think that the lady had no idea how many people had read her poem.
