My little Buddy sits on my shoulder or arm and sometimes when he flies off, he leaves me a little 'gift'. So happy for you that your budgie is bonding with you.

I just got a surprise gift from Buddy on my hand. He was sitting on my hand while I was preparing his afternoon seeds. He flew off to eat and I sat at my computer, that's when I noticed his gift.

Baby bird was scared of the camera and i could not come close enough to take a good clear picture. So i would not scare it anymore and rather focus on taming it. But thanks for offering the service on gender reveal Baby bird likes the millet alot, so hand feeding it with millet is great way to bond with it. We also had to remove the mirror since the baby was destroying it and making dangerous stunts on it. But overall its going great with the taming. Its not scared of my hands and it dosent bite me....yet

You might try holding the camera up to Baby for a minute several times throughout the day so Baby gets used to seeing it then you can take pictures.

I can try that Piphans was like magnet to my phone. Every time i had to take a picture of her, then she jumped up on my phone and messed up the options on it.

Today the babybird would not step up on my finger. But i could give it head scrathes or what you call it It was sitting in the bird rope and relaxing with closed eyes while it was grinding its beak. Do you just let ur birds sit when they dont want to step up ?
The baby realy likes that bird rope
Is that normal for a baby bird to not allways want to step up when they are sitting a comfy place ? Also Its starting to make some squark noises like its upset about something.

Your new bird is starting to become comfortable in their new home and starting to show his feelings. Not stepping up every time is part of this. I’m sure different people expect different outcomes but for me, I need to know that they are going to step up each time I ask (don’t forget to verbalise the command as well). So if they don’t step up immediately I give them a little push across their chest/belly as a reminder of what the command is. This is usually enough for the older ones. Sometimes, and more likely with a young one, they will be stubborn and hang on tight to their perch and this is where bribery in the form of millet is very useful - holding the millet so that to feed on the millet your bird needs to stand on your hand/finger.

It makes sence I actualy tryed the millet bribe trick and it worked. So the baby was more coop today Today i had babybird on my finger when it had been out for few hours and then i slowly moved my finger to the cage entrance and suddenly baby bird jumped inside its cage. I dident need to put my whole hand inside or make any akward movememnt to get it inside the cage. Then i said "good baby bird" Also it likes to chirp when my mother speaks with someone on her phone. And if it cant see her then it calls after her. I also got my eye preened this evening and i can kiss its belly.

The playgrounds we have are still scary places to sit. I tryed several times today to introduce em to Baby bird. But it just ran all the way from my finger up to my shoulder to hide Even the millet trick dident help. I also installed a bird seed tray on the playground and offered it some of the seeds. So that is prolly gona take some time to get use to.

Just leave it close by with a piece of millet and birdie will pluck up the courage to explore eventually. It is funny, the things that they find scary.
