Best of luck with the surgery, ariella. Hoping for the very best outcome for you. Xx Our tree will be put up outside on our deck as there is no room really in the house. Plus probably safer for the tree to be there - Loki is not a fan of things invading “his” space. That’s my first job for this morning. Jasper has kept us rather preoccupied and so Christmas has snuck up on us.

Marianne Marlow your tree and paper chains are really pretty. I have my advent calendar and Christmas cards in the lounge. I usually hang some Christmasy things from the CD shelves but fearless Rito will want to play with them so best not this year. I have a little 40cm tree that I put battery lights on so I can take it out of the lounge when we're not in the room but I've not decorated it yet. ariella sorry to hear you've got to have surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery. Do you know when it will be? I'm glad your still enjoying crafting I don’t have a date yet. The surgeon requested a theatre on my first appointment with her back in October. I believe it’s done on a grading system. Had the biopsies shown malignancy I’d have had my surgery this year but when I spoke to her secretary she thought January was likely. I’m not so sure due to the bed situation, doctors striking and the winter placing more demands on the NHS. I’m focusing on the recovery and requested lots of home comforts I’ve put away especially for after surgery and I’m back home - soft cushions, fluffy blankets, supportive Orthopaedic slippers, books, etc. - so I’m all prepared in that respect. Not so much for the drains and how I’m going to move about, but I’ll deal with that as and when it happens. I just hope it’s not still growing. Over 18cm long when I had my MRI and that’s now 4 months ago! Just resting as much as possible at the moment. Thank you everyone for all your kind wishes. It means a lot.
