Hi all.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to recommend the above food supplement. Having searched for it on this forum it has come up once before but over a specific circumstance.
Anyhow I had two budgies with respiratory issues both slightly different symptom's. Both of them had mild symptoms initially but they increased in time. One of them quite quickly deteriorated. I had hoped that it would clear up by itself without any potential intrusive medication to them but in retrospect I should have given the medication sooner.
I initially gave them T Plus. This is a fairly generic antibiotic although often used for respiratory issues. This helped but didn't fully clear the issues certainly with the bird who had it worse.
Then after research I found a supplement called Guardian Angel. I discussed this with an avian vet who said it was excellent to take immediately after (not during) a course of antibiotics. He advised to give it every day for up to two weeks. Once the birds seemed back to full health it can then be used twice a week as a ongoing supplement.
It will amongst other things boost the birds own immune system which will the be better able to fight off the illness. Particularly if they don't eat the perfect diet eg pellets and full spectrum of relevant veg and fruit.
The thing is it worked like magic! I noticed a notable difference within 48 hours and both birds are now healthier than ever.
I was advised to give this as a permanent supplement twice a week for all birds which I certainly will be doing.
Anyhow I just wanted to share this as in my experience and from the online reviews I have seen this is a superb supplement and or tonic booster after illness and I hope it may help others.
