I have question about Babybird. When i have her on my hand, then often she likes to chew on my fingers
Its like she wants to fight. But she dont bite hard. She just graps my fingers with her foot and starts to chew Sometimes it can get a littel bit rough if i move my fingers.
Is this a good or bad thing to do for her ? I dont hope im learning her to bits since she dosent bite us.

I'd be fine with this. If she isn't biting hard enough to hurt, it seems to be harmless play.
My Mr Hibs sometimes play-bites me. He's gentle and funny and there's no harm in him at all.

They will often nibble on your hand to check you out, and that really is all it is. Not having hands to hold things with, their beak is their tactile point.

Imagine birds with arms Also babybird realy like these long seeds that looks like wheat corn. I think they actualy are wheat corns..can you buy these seperate anywhere ? I managed to sort some out of the seed mix and lure her with em She lands on my finger if i hold a wheat corn in my hand and makes her see it. And im using these corns to show her how to bath on a plate

Today we switched her seed bowl out with a seed plate that she eat from when she is out. Since she spreads the seeds to sort out the long wheat seeds and it gets messy. Then later this evening she had eaten all the long grain We could see all these seeds was eaten and only empty shells was left haha She realy loves these seeds

Be very careful not to overindulge her with the oats as they are fairly high in fat content and very popular with our budgies meaning that they will eat these first and fill up on fatty seeds rather than other not so fatty ones.

Today Babybird was home alone for few hours. Nothing usualy happens by that but today she found a plant to destroy. So we had to move my mothers plants around to avoid this again. So we call her Baby Bandit now But is there any kind of grass for budgies that we can plant and let her chew on ? Like for cats there has to be some grass for birds also.

You can plant some of her own seed mix, some budgies like to chew on wheatgrass as well. I understand there are grass-growing kits that are available on-line but I don’t know any more than that, sorry.
Just make sure she isn’t able to get to the soil itself (maybe some pebbles or similar over the top) as commercial potting mix contains a lot of fungal spores.
