So Babybird is around ½ year old and her cere is changing colour and its spring time. This means Babybird is full of hormones and getting ready for breeding.
But beside that, then she keeps landing on my mothers head. Maybe for nesting ?
She flies back and forth on my mothers head several times a day.
But i heard you can train ur budgie to NOT land on ur head by placing it on ur shoulder or arm and then give it a reward. Or you can wear a scary hat or dodge when she tryed to land there.
Has anyone had this "problem"
My mother dosent like to have Babybird on her head every day.
Any ideea how to make her stop doing that ?

She needs to start doing both the things you have mentioned - wear something different on her head (any decent hen will get used to this rather quickly so she would need a variety of headgear) and removing Babybird to her shoulder when she does land on her head. Also give her lots of praise and treats when she lands on a hand or shoulder in the first place, rather than the head. Two other ways to go about fixing this problem are being proactive - making some move before Babybird gets to land on her head. One is to put her hand up between your bird’s flight and her head so she doesn’t actually reach the head; the other is to duck so Bb misses her landing and flies on to land somewhere else. She would then call Bb to her with her hand/arm our for Bb to land on.
This is not usually a long term problem, not if you get in with the re-direction early.

I'd love to have mine land on my head, but I can understand that it would get annoying Let us know how you get on.

Its not problem when she does it few times, but last day babybird was crazy since it was a rainy day and spring time. She flew back and forth on my mothers head 20 times or so. So my mother tryed to hide under a magazine. But BB would just land there instead of her head.
