Windsor, hope all goes well with the op, and you are back out there enjoying the birds enjoying their new aviary. May I ask about the blue "bubble-wrap"? Is it some kind of insulator, and what is it made of? Your whole project looks terrific, and it actually reminds me of Mick's a bit. His is one of my favourites.

Hi and thanks to all for your comments not worried about op this is number 3. Hezz the blue cover is one that we used to use to cover one of the koi ponds during winter,it is blue one sid and silver on the other the blue allows warmth through and the silver reflets heat back we used to cover the pond and put heater on in november till march but it allows you to turn it back on good days. As my back garden is a sun trap we have put it blue side in so it will allow heat out and reflect the afternoon sun away. Its very strong and quite heavy we still have rather a large piece if we need to cover the open end of flight.
