;D ;D ;D Yep that's what it means! LOL! It actually means "friend" in Chinese I would like to think we had met Marianne, but might only have been via email as I worked in Kent. However, we mostly had communications to local areas only but so glad we have met now

You are all making me jealous lol. I would love to get one on either the inside of my wrist or something to cover up the scars I have on my wrist from an operation almost two years ago. However I haven't yet because a) I have no clue what I'd have done and I'd want to be certain before even going there and b) I'm terrified of needles lol ;D

No need to be terrified just dont look lol I've heard mixed things about it Paul. Some say the wrist is as bad as having on your ribs tattooed, others say it doesn't hurt at all

My father has tatoos some of which he regrets for personal reasons. They've been with him a long time. Done when he was in his late teens or early twenties. He's 97 now. That's a long time to wish they weren't there. My son arrived home with a huge mess around his ankle ten or eleven years ago... I think it's called a sock. Several bands of plain colour encircling his ankle. I can still recall how sad I felt (and still do when I think about it). He was between 15 and 16 at the time. I felt as I had let him down not helping him to develop enough pride in himself as he was. He saw it as following the pack and being like his mates. Now has several more - on his arms mostly. At his age it is his choice. Most definitely not for me... they are too permanent and in some cases I feel they are disfiguring. Sorry - I don't mean to offend anyone - Ultimately up to the individual as it was for my son.
