Hello all Just a quick question, all you's that have outside flights do you's just let your birds choose wen they wanna go in or out or do you's lock them in at nite? And cold weather? Thanks

well Bella & Bubbles let themselves out in the mornings,but I usually open the door after 7am.....on a night time they go in by themselves! as for the cold they are out in ALL weathers!

Some breeders shoo the birds inside. Some don't provide food outside so in the evening they go inside. Some leave the inside light on so when it gets dark outside they go in.

Iam stuck on wot to do, iam gunna put a door on cos Dnt want them Out in winter, but mite be easier if I leave door open during warm weather 24/7 cos I work all different hours so cudnt have a set bed time for them

if you make the highest perch inside and not in the outside aviary, then your budgies will prefer to roost inside on the high perches!
