Hi everyone. I have 2 breeding budgies but the only problem is that the male is a little bit smaller than the female. Will it result in unsuccessful mating?

Never had a problem with this myself. Indie is a huge exhib bird and her mate is Zippy my little pet type, he's a fraction of her size and if anything it helps him stay aboard the ship a bit more during the act, lol S.

That's not a reason for infertile eggs.

Thanks everyone. I can stop worrying I caught him mating with her today. Sometimes he mates on her wing and sometimes roughly in the right spot. Things are looking up Nicola
