I am so glad the parrot was rescued. And I can understand your stance on not advertising a found quaker parrot...here it is quite common for people to "claim" a parrot, only to provide too general details and no pics. Just too shady, ya know? I am unsure about the cost of a Quaker parrot where you live but in Canada, breeder prices range anywhere from $300-$595. It appears by doing a quick Google search in the UK the price range is $200-$300. I hope that can give you somewhat of an idea. From what I learned, they are great talkers, pellet based diet with lots of fruit and vegetables and seeds as treats... Question: Are you going to quarantine him or take him to the vet-just in case?

I think you should advertise it as a quaker. There are ways of making sure the callers are authentic or not. Is the bird tame, colour, name, does it speak, where it was lost from etc. I hope the owners see your ads and get their pet back. Poor bird.

Put up on parrotalert you have found a quaker with an idea of the area and state the person must describe the bird to you.
If it is their bird they will be able to describe it like the back of their hand, much easier as well if it speaks as they should be able to tell you phrases it can say and any personality quirks. Also an enquiry at pet shops and vets to see if anyone has mentioned loosing one as not everyone has the internet.
