hiya,has anyone had dealings with a princess of wales parrot,thinking of getting one.do they mix well with budgies

They are more commonly called Princess parrots here. My brother-in-law has one but I haven't seen and had anything to do with it. Sorry can't help.

They are normally called Princess of Wales Parakeets near me.
I would not mix them with Budgies though unless you have a large aviary and easy going birds and always keep an eye out and separate at the first sign of trouble.

iv'e never heard of this bird before, and theirs been a few in a past i haven't either, how come every time i look them up they come from Australia EVERY TIME ;D.

56 species are found in Australia, and only five of these are found elsewhere in the world.
Note this is just species, there are many sub-species within these, too.

We surely do Marianne. One reason our customs and border security have to be so on the ball. So much live stuff gets stuffed into boxes and suitcases and exported illegally, makes me cry to see these (especially the birds, stuffed into a cardboard cylinder). Anything for the almighty buck, hey?
