polly and taz now have 7 eggs ... bobby has 2 ... caspers bird laid one today so all my cocks are going to be daddys by the looks of it ..... cant wait for the hatchings... pics will be posted of the chicks when they are hatched

ok so a little update ... polly and taz have 8 eggs !!! which of 6 are defo fertile as been candled .... bobby has 4 ... and casper has been mating but has 0 eggs now ... .. stace .. as u know i loved my birds so i wouldnt want anything else than to keep in contact with them

ive never known a budgies to have 9 eggs!! she smashed one so it would of been 10 ... is this normal ?

wow .. alot of little babies then .. im sooo looking forward to the chicks It is better to foster anything above 5 because when 5 or more chicks hatch, it becomes difficult for the hen to feed and incubate at the same time thus last one or two eggs do not get proper incubation and do not hatch.
