Hello all I got this cockatiel the other day and wonderd if any of yous think it's male or female, cockatiels are so hard to tell arnt they Attachments:

Check the wings and tail. Females typically have dark bars on the underside of their tail feathers while males do not have that. Also spots on the underside of the wings will normally stand out on females but not so on males.

Ive got cockatiels like that & I was told you can tell by the rosy cheeks, the males are bright orange & females a little duller. Dont know if this is true though, if it is, I would say female

You are right about orange cheeks Lesb The tail and feathers technique is considered more accurate but it all helps together, especially when cockatiels are adults.
