I got a random burst of toy making energy today and as its my day off I went with it ;D First off I fixed up an old swing from the aviary. The sides once had wicker balls, coconut pieces, and other bits but the aviary ratbags had destroyed them all so I added lots of new goodies for them The back of the swing The front I also made a couple of new toys for Ozzie and co in the house. A simple crinkle box to go on the side of the cage: And a smiley face box packed with crinkle paper ;D Alfie likes the smiley face box ;D Whilst JayJay got stuck into the crinkle box I also made a quick spring toy for Lola to cheer her up whilst she is separated from the others

Rachael nice toys, your budgies are so brave I know, its weird how they are very rarely scared of anything. I wish Holly was the same but she is scared of anything new in her cage lol Its taken about 8 months to get her to brave carrot on a fruit spear

Amazing Rachael!
How do you make the wicker balls, or do you buy them? Just wondering because Munchy is destroying the plastic balls on his ferris wheel and breaking off pieces of plastic so I thought something like wicker balls might be safer.

I bought them and budgies love to destroy wicker balls. I get quite a bit of my toy making stuff, including the big wicker balls, from www.chinchillas2shop.co.uk The mini munch balls are good too
