HI Gemma I have the same one as you, not the double height, which for mine would be a waste of time as they would only use the top 10 inches lol. Thye still havent used the lower down food bowls but i am gradually lowering the old feeders that I am still using from the old cage. I have to say the doors opening inwards to 90 degrees and outwards to go flat is great as when inwards they do make a great perch for entering and exiting the cage. I put a perch outside for them to land on to get back in easily. However it is a nightmare to clean compared to my old one. You have to remove the whole base, my last one had a simple pair of pull out draws which made it easy to do every day. This one I find easier to clean with the birds out, but still a 2 person job. My last cage would have got 9/10 this one so far is at best only a 7/10. I think I really wanted an indoor aviary, but neede done small enough to fit in the car, as they go to mums when on holiday, so it was a compromise. But I might still get an aviary.

Mine is the double height one so big, yea i thought the cage would be easier to clean but now not so sure now u say its a 2 person job, theres only me and my three year old in the house. That should be fun lol. Thats a good idea about getting a perch for the outside. Ill do that. Hope ur budgies get used to the lower feeding bowls x

I have followed a tip on her and have now put newspaper ontop of the wire on the base, put 7 sheets down and can now just remove one a day, through thr door, leaving just a big clean once a week.
