My OH has been very busy working his fingers to the bone to come up with these for the boys... This is a Budgie Station, flight...perch/thing ;D And this is a home made stainless steel and dowling Kabob! Isn't he clever? Looking forward to the boys using them

OH gets a gold star....*
As far as budgie paraphernalia goes, I wear the budgie construction pants in my house. I just get weird looks and the question, "What, on earth, are you making now! That budgie is sooooo spoilt".

Hopefully they won't "break them in" too hard! But after having a hen bird, no doubt they will take a while to chew through things?! Glad you all like them Hopefully the shop of horrors will find them irresistible ;D @ Stace, normally I wear the Budgie Toy trousers too, but this called for industrial hands! Will tell me OH that he has be awarded gold star perhaps I should recommend that he patent them and start a business! ;D

Nah! That's going a bit far. Just give him a big smooch and his gold star. Don't want him getting a big head JUST yet. ;D

Update: Sorry about the quality of photo - still don't want to scare them too much, as still early days! Barney did have a nibble (curiosity got the better of him!) But decided he didn't like brocolli after a try so didn't bother with the rest I still think he deserves a gold star for trying tho

I'd cut the carrot up much much thinner, with rounds only a couple of mm thick. Makes it easier to rip them up and possible eat some at the same time!
