You might like to try www.zooplus.co.uk as I have found them to be very good and reasonably priced. You have got one budgie now, but after the addiction has set in - are you going to consider to get any more? ;D You may want to consider this when buying a new cage!

Cages like this one in link below are the gold standard, in my opinion. Have a look, and work your way back from this ideal, depending on how much you can afford to spend. Things to think about that make this cage the ideal. Wide, not tall. Plenty of room for them flit about and so you can fix perches so they don't poop in their food. Big door and side doors, so you can get in there and move perches and toys around, plus put newspaper linings in bottom over grate and clean it easily, with smaller side doors for easy feeding. Easily detached from stand so you can sit it on a sideboard or table. Sturdy so that it won't get knocked over. I actually prefer the flat top ones rather than open top, so you can also put a play gym on the top. But that's just my preference. www.amazon.co.uk/Liberta-Drake-Medium-Parrot-Stand/dp/B002Y1OFTK/ref=pd_cp_lp_0#productPromotions
