I would just like to offer my thoughts and prayers to our American friends who may be suffering because of the 'biblical' storms they are suffering at present. It looks on British T.V. absolutely horrific and I would like those in America to know that they are not forgotten. Even if we can't do anything for them physically we can remember them in our thoughts and prayers. ['][']

It would be very distressing. To have such a huge natural disaster hitting such a dense population area is so rare.

i feel so sorry for them .. . i herd today on the news..... the death toll is 50 so far ,and could rise... . this is terible.... .

Thank you for starting this thread, Jean. My family is going through it's own woes at the moment - it is easy to lose sight of the big picture. Mother Nature can be a fierce force to be reckoned with.
