I did too! The first place I tried, which just happened to be my local independent grocer; they do have a bit of that "different, slightly off-the-wall" stuff. Now I just need a bottle to keep the budgies water in as they only go through such a small amount - otherwise someone will drink it and wonder what is going on!!! ;D

Thats brilliant! As cap sizes are different, I would say that dilution works out at approx half a teaspooon per 1lt of water. Hope your family er.. I mean buds enjoy

Thanks for that Sam. I will try to work that out as a number of drops. May be easier to make it up every day rather than risk the family drinking the birds' water, hee hee! ;D

By my dropper, seems to be about 3-4 drops/100mls in case anyone else wants to know.

The best place to buy ACV is your local farm supply shop. We get ours in the same shop we buy our sacks of chicken food, straw hay etc. It's bets to get it from these sorts of shops as it in not filtered. Stuff bought in "human" food shops it filtered and made to look nice for public consumption. In doing this the goodness is removed. I often have a spoonful myself and have a jar made up with honey. www.naturalnews.com/030236_apple_cider_vinegar_health.html

This is what I use. I read that cloudy unfiltered stuff, "with the mother" is best.

birdguhl, that's great. I buy mine in 5litre bottles, everyone gets some in my house, parrots, chickens, dog, tortoises that and grapefruit seed extract. I have a list of things that I rotate as supplements for all my animals. They are probably healthier than my kids.

I use the Apple Cider Vinegar too every time I change the water. But do be careful that you get the pure stuff with no additives. The real ACV should have slight sediment on the inside bottom of the bottle.
