Overdosing calcium can be fatal. Follow the manufacturer's dosage according to the quantity of water in your drinking bottle. I use a syringe to measure. Replace the water daily.

I use it.i give it my non breeders twice a week.my breeding birds have it five days a week.dont feed every day.james if its the bird care company calcivet its 10-20ml per litre. I find i dont use this amount when i am not breeding.what i xo is make a smaller quantity. Half a litre of water to 1 and a half teaspoons of calcivet.( i use a medicine spoon that has a 5ml size on one end and a 2.5 ml on the other.) Barrie will probably be able to tell you it in drops.
