I have more wonderful news regarding Cameron. He has finished school now (as of about 4 weeks ago), has won a scholarship to Bond Uni and as of last night midnight, the school leavers could access their overall position within the state. He is in the terrific position of not needing this OP score as he has already been accepted in Bond Uni, but ......... drumroll ........... he has achieved the highest possible score he can ..... an OP 1. *Little jig from mum, you don't want to see that!!* He leaves home for Orientation Week starting 7th Jan. That's the only downside.

Many congratulations Hezz and Cameron I know how you feel. For a mother there is nothing like having successful children. I can always tell about my mother what she is feeling whenever she looks at us brother and sisters. But I am quite sure that she never had a jig in her life ;D

Hezz that is more wonderful news... I'm SO happy for you and Cameron. I bet poor Drew is feeling the strain of having such an older brother to live up to though.... I will be thinking of you on the 7th Jan when you will have to be brave and watch him leave, but with all confidence I can definitely say you have nothing to worry about with that kid, everything he does he excels at so be happy, proud and enjoy the moment!

@ Sam -I like that! I think I am going to have to use it, with your permission. OP1 Kenobi! It certainly has a ring to it. @ Lesley - Thank you, and I will pass on all your congrats. I will probably only get a grunt from him as he does so like to play down his efforts. @ BB But I am quite sure that she never had a jig in her life I am sure she has, maybe called something else, and in private, but I would guarantee your mother has done her own version of a little jig ..... probably many times! Moogie - Mega-proud will do. That just about covers it, I think. No video, sorry! I did my jig in private too. @ Sarah - I will have to suck it up and be brave. It would be nice to have him around a while, but not to be. He seems so ready to go. As for Drew, he is just happy for him. If he were closer in years to Cam it might put pressure on himself, but at the moment he is just "chillin'". He got a great semester report himself, with mostly A's and a couple of B+'s. I think there was only one straight B, so he is holding his own. @ Skysmum - If I were a little younger, the ceiling may be an option. but I have a few creaks happening at the moment, it could end in tears. ;D It is a wonderful feeling when you see them reach their potential. Thank you everyone for your lovely remarks and good wishes. I will let Cameron know you are all happy for him. But as i mentioned before, I may get a grunt or a grumble in reply. That will depend on the time of day, a lot, too. ;D
