I saw this on another site and thought it was really good so I made one for my budgies. You need flour and water: Mix equal parts together. I did read elsewhere that you need to heat the mixture and then cool it to make the glue but it worked quite well for me just by mixing them together. Apply strips of paper to a balloon using the mixture. Its basically paper mache. I only blew my balloon up half way as obviously you don't want it too big for your budgies. It took quite a while to dry, I think I used too much mixture lol. Pop the balloon and get rid of the left over bits of rubber from it. Now its your choice what you want to do after this. I chose to make it into.... A pumpkin! I filled the inside with crinkly paper and hung it up. As you can see Alfie and Ozzie loved it

That is a great idea Rachael!! I might have to give it a try - but with asda smart price flour instead of the tesco Lol I just used what was in the cupboard. I like Asda more than Tescos too
