Bert & Ernie have had they're first bath yesterday. After trying many things I put a shallow stainless steel serving bowl in the bottom of the cage with some water in. Ernie was the first to try it and he splashed around and then Bert followed him in. They both went in twice splashing around like kids in a pool...so funny. I will try and get some pictures next time.

They are so funny to watch when they have a bath, I find I could sit there for hours watching them!

Another good thing to use for a bath is a pie dish. They usually have a little edge for budgies to sit on, not too deep so they don't have trouble climbing out, and they are nice and stable - no worry of them tipping over. Photos are always good.

Mine likes a shower, won't go in a bath but loves to splash about under a running tap, they are very funny to watch though

funnily enough i tried ours with a shallow bath of tepid water yesterday and they had a great time, they didn't like it when it was cold because i've tried it before. Would like to try them with the running tap, sounds fun
