I just came across this quote. It is so true.
A THOUGHT FOR TODAY: And the fox said to the little prince: men have forgotten this truth, but you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. -Antoine de Saint-Exupery, author and aviator (1900-1945)

-Antoine de Saint-Exupery, author and aviator (1900-1945) Looks like he never tamed the skies, Stace. I wonder if that is what killed him? He didn't live long, did he? But so very true - we all must take on whole responsibility for our animals whether they be pets or stock.

Apparently he disappeared over the Mediterranean on his last assigned reconnaissance mission for the French Air Force in July 1944.

I wondered if he may have been a WWII victim. I didn't have time this morning to go looking ..... just a very quick look.
