At last Inca has found her voice or . I thought Tilly was playing with her squeaky toy but it was Inca, strangest budgie calling ive ever heard and ive heard quite a bit in my time ;D. She is calling to the others today, ive turned the radio up a tad to try and lessen the aggravation for her, its gonna be a long quarantine, id forgotten what it was like, been 14 years since i had to quarantine Buds.

I have found that birds from different places have different voices, but over time they all tend to sound the same. So yours Skysmum, will all sound the same and as it has been so long since a new bird being bought, you are really noticing it. All the birds where Inca came from probably all sound like her. I think it is a bit sad that they lose that individuality.

I think that's a bit sad too.

Strange isn't it. I have also noticed this in the wild birds especially when we have been abroad. Italian Blackbirds sound quite different. Ive no doubt she will soon pick up the Berkshire accent ;D. She has been very quite today though .
