I am sure Inca will be welcomed in the flock She was BB, everything went very well and she is chuffed to bits to be with the others . The other 4 were a bit surprised with the arrival of someone new, the boys were very unfazed, fern has been a bit stand offish but ok, little Freddy was the only one that looked as if she was going to have a go when Inca popped into their cage for the first time but she soon settled. Inca has been very polite almost saying excuse me everytime she went to the feeders so all is well and she is even spending the night, she just has to figure out how to use a swing because i think she may get pooped on tonight . A good start.

They are amazing little creatures. Their social skills are really well tuned. Pity more people don't recognise this in them.

Glad it all went smoothly for all concerned. And how is the queen among her subjects this morning, Skysmum?

So pleased that all went well with Inca. I shall be introducing a new two to mine in a weeks time, so I hope my meeting goes as smoothly as yours. Keep us posted on how they all get on.

She is being a very good Queen to her subjects Hezz , very gracious, and in turn they are teaching her how to become a budgie because i don't think she has ever been aloud to be that in her 1 plus year. She hasn't a clue about fruit and veg and she is following the others this morning, her little eyes were like saucers when she tasted apple, i have offered her fruit and veg every day in quarantine but she wouldn't touch, they are also teaching her about swings, she has fallen off a couple of times but now has the hang of it. It is so lovely to see and there is no malice from any of them. I have some lovely photo's just got to sit and work out how to put them on .

Poor girl! Well lucky she now has a few peasants to teach her how to enjoy life. How lovely that it all went so well.
