Hi guy I've had my budgie for 2 weeks the store told me he's 16 weeks old he's cere is a mild tint if blue leading me to think its a boy and he's got a green belly and when I 1st got him he has green chest yellow head yellow and black wings and a white under belly its started turning blue is this normal and if so will he's green chest turn blue I hope it does that would look cool here's 2 pics of him I called him kiwi s9.postimage.org/74lyfce67/IMAG0294.jpg. postimage.org/image/cle9l1t3l/

Hi ryan, have you got a closer pic of the cere, im thinking you have a female myself but a closer look will tell. If kiwi has had a first moult he-she will change colour, it take's a while for their true forever colours to come through, lovely bud .

she looks like as grey green spangle opaline pied!!! cannot tell if she is a recessive or donimate pied!!

Lovely Girl, im still saying female and she is still developing her colours but is def pied, possibly blue green, photo's can be deceptive where colour is concerned. .

Thanks what does pied mean It basically means that the bud has different patches of colour but it is more complex and other members will be able to explain this in more detail for you. These are my two pied's just to give you a basic idea
