Just wondering how you full time workers manage an aviary cleaning and giving them the attention they need? Aswell as the indoor birds? Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards

I managed for years with aviary and several cages working 52-60 hours a week plus. Everthing was done in the very early mornings and the evenings. TV wasn't turned on ever. I'd sit on the internet at night too tired to even go to bed. In the end something had to give. Either cut down or birds or cut down on work hours. I cut work hours in the end. Couldn't have carried on like that indefinately. Realised there's only so much you can do in a day before you burn out and then start cutting corners. Then the animals suffer

I just have indoor birds and I check they have enough food and water in the morning before going to work, and I have a chat with them whilst getting ready. They then have the radio on all day so they can have a little sing to the music. A lamp is set to come on at 3pm so when it starts to go darker they have light until I get in. I then clean t heir cage and do all their bits and spend the evening with them. At the weekend I try and coax them out of their cage but so far they have only gone on the landing platform and looked around. No wonder I'm sat here in silence feeling lonely as they are at my mums whilst I go away tomorrow.

Most of my work with the birds are done in the morning before i go to work, i have a light that comes on at 4.30pm so when i get home from work i can still go down to the shed to attend them.
