BIG hints now girls, they really are nice, i love the mug. When i saw them on the web after Gaile told us about them i must admit i thought they were all a bit too pink for me but they are much nicer than they look on line, the other colours in the birds are very vibrant which takes the pink of a bit. I love them all .

Your daughter is a sweetheart, Skysmum! She obviously knew what she was doing; knew what you would appreciate. I do have to wonder what the birds would think, though, if you sat drinking your coffee out of that mug, writing on the pad, out in the conservatory. I can just see them tittering and wing-pointing at the poor crazy pink birds ........ like watching the girl with green hair walking through the shopping centre. Anyway, there are unopened gifts there - what else did you get? Where they all for you? ? I'll get a kiss and a "Happy Mother's Day"

I'd use the paper to make greetings cards. I never throw anything like that away, it's too nice for the bin. I've got three girls and they all know what I like. This year they are getting me a rose bush each, because I am renovating my garden and want a rose bed. My youngest daughter has already given me a beautiful purple rose bush, and said it's just a small part of my present. they always buy something for my son to give me as well. I know why I had 4 kids now, you get so many presents on mothers day.

Skysmum, is the bag one of those you put into your handbag to use when you don't get a bag? I have a fluoro green one and still forget it is there, lol. But with such a pretty bag, I'm guessing you will be buying things just to show off the bag!
