I have attached one of these to my aviary to see what the budgies do. Well, curiosity being one of their major personality trait's, they went over to investigate and are now using it to drink from. I am really pleased as It's easier for me to refill and also I know they wont have contaminated water where one of them has pooped in it. I will have to leave a water bowl in for the cockatiels because I haven't seen them use it yet. My Hahns Macaw uses one as his water bottle, I tried my African Grey but he threw his on the floor several times and broke them.

It is good, if they get used to it. No contamination of water possible. Glass ones are better.

I put a small one in for mine a few weeks ago but so far they haven't touched it .

I put a small one in for mine a few weeks ago but so far they haven't touched it . Sometimes they need to be shown what to do, Skysmum. And not meaning to be rude ( , but your birdies, apart from Inca, are not youngsters any more. They are like us in many ways and don't always take to new things.
