We are about to fit 2 extractor fans in the shed something we have never had before but we both think it is needed for our own health and the birds.
We currently have a air purifier and 3 opening windows but we feel this isnt enough so we will be buying and installing 2 extractors.

Thanks Barrie, since we extended the shed and got rid of outdoor flight where the cockatiels were they are now inside and the dust they give off is terrible so its a must now.

What are these extractors? I am guessing just like exhaust fans.

BB a extractor fan is a fan that takes the dust from inside the shed and blows it outside the shed.
Google it.

Having all these mod cons such as opening windows, air purifiers, extractors fans, hoovers is this all going to cut down the risk to the breeders lungs?

Also consider adapting a cooker hood Owain these are perfect Barrie and people are always exchanging them for more modern looking glass chimney types soe u might get a chance of cheap second hand ones in your local newspaper
