Here are some pics of my 'main' aviary setup. I am very proud of this aviary since I built (and funded) it myself - I even planned it in a 3D application first, though I never had any blueprints to go off. My finch aviary being built in October 2012 Completed Aviary!! - October 2012 The aviary as of today (3.8.2013) - Put in some eucalypt branches for the birds, they absolutely love it! The quails' hide - it's now covered in tons of eucalypt branches and they like running between them. Hoping for some chicks this year, although I'm thinking I'll have to invest in a small incubator/brooder setup since I heard quail aren't that good at breeding anymore. My budgies are all in a large flight-cage, hence their clipped wings (the cage is outside, and with a large door). I used to have budgies with the finches and doves, and they got along fine, but the hens used to rip the breeding finches' nests to pieces, so they were shifted into this cage.

Your set up looks really leafy and natural Boonze. What are the lowest temperatures in your part of the world? I'm really not looking forward to our drawn out UK winter. Our summer seems to be so short . I need to invest in a couple of tublar heaters to keep mine warm in the depths of winter.
