Sorry I seem to have been AWOL for a good while! For ages I couldn't get my password accepted and ended up doing read-only as I got fed up being rejected. I was trying on my big PC, lappy, tablet and mobile - goodness knows what on earth I was doing! I tried log-in just now and hey ... I am back!
Just wanted to say hello to the folks who 'know' me and say 'pleased to meet you' to the loads of new members since I last got logged on :-)
Marianne - your brilliant forum has gone from strength to strength and is still the best - I am so pleased to be able to communicate again:-)

Aw hello everyone What a welcome Yes Hezz - it's Fran Adventurous times for Fran's humans in the past year or so - Hubby had double bypass heart surgery and is now doing real well after a shaky start to his recovery and has now officially retired and is trying to get used to normal home life and being with me 24 hours a day Younger son remarried - he and his gorgeous lady (both have 2 boys from previous lives) now have the most gorgeous baby girl - it sure is a busy house where they all live (only 5 minutes away by car) I am not too bad thanks - good days and off days - but nothing life threatening I will update you on budgie matters on the General Budgie Talk section Good to be back (Edit) Oh poooo! wrote a big update in the General Budgie Talk section ...... pressed something stupid and it has gone - will try again later

Oh, don't you just hate that!!! I do it too, so you are not alone. Good to hear all is reasonable in the Fran household, but how are you coping with hub being around 24/7? It is something I personally am not looking forward to ...... I suppose there is plenty of need for volunteers around the place ...... I may find myself very charity-minded. But lovely that you have family close by. I am envious, And please do try later to give us an update on your two rascals.
