Let's hope the wing damage is not too severe. It takes a while for these Lovebirds to grow in their feathers, doesn't it.

Dear little soul, i love the feeding vid, it just melt's your heart. Good luck with him BB, he sure is a little fighter and he is getting the best of care . I also love it that he gets excited when you are making his food, they soon catch on don't they.

You're obviously doing a great job with him, BB. Here's hoping his wing recovers fully, but even if it doesn't he will still lead a charmed life.

Poor poor Lovie! He has had a rough start a bit hasn't he?! But under your love, care and supervision BB he will grow up to be big and strong and love you forever Just a quick question BB, at what temperature should you have a hospital cage set at for a sick bird? I have just recently bought a hospital cage (just in case for emergencies) and wondered at what temperature should it be kept at when a bird is sick? If I ever had to use it (which obviously I hope I don't) I don't want my bud overheating Thank you Sam He did have a very rough start but things are getting better. Temperature of the hospital cage should be kept between 86 to 95 degrees F, but around 90 degrees is better. Remember our warm can be chilly for birds.

Best of luck with Lovie BB. You've done a great job by the looks of things Its not easy all the sleepless nights I know only too well, but so rewarding when they fledge as a nice healthy bird Thank you Nat During last week or so, I have been managing work, guests, visiting some friends and family and of course feeding Lovie, and now I look like a sleepless zombie

From just simple sounds, they realize that's it's feeding time, sleep time, etc.

We had a whole day out to sea, lunch and dinner with F&F. As Lovie requires feeding every few hours, so obviously he had to tag a long

His foot looks great, very well healed, I bet he'll cope just fine when he is older and more steady standing. The wing looks as though it is or has been very sore, poor little Lovie. His eyes are nice and bright and he looks very happy and alert though, that's what counts in the end BB one day you will be able to sleep again!
