Hey jj I just emailed the guy that makes the swings and asked what metal he used and he said Bright Galvanized Steel & the split links are nickel plated steel. I my self am not sure if these are safe so lets wait to see what others can tell us...i know stainless steel is safe x

I had a swing made, which has natural leather for the arms, stainless steel connecting links and lots beads. It wasn't expensive and B loves it. I also bought SS links and changed the ordinary metal on his toys for the SS. They are cheap.

"Warning this bud may cause Obsessive Compulsive Disorder"

Just had this off swing guy!
Hi, I buy it in 12 meter lengths, its from a wholesale pet supplier & used in the making of parrot toys (swings, hanging toys etc) There closed tonight but I'll call in tomorrow & get the full details & will message you when I've got the exact specs such as toxicity zinc etc (Theres not much left of the label as when I opened the chain roll I had to tear off the label)
It sound ok to me he uses them for his pets (according to his website) but I want to know for sure
X

So nice to know it is not just me who goes over the top on toys for the birds. He has more toys than the dogs ever had, demands more attention and is pampered. He has snuggle time every afternoon for an hour with me and we have only had him three weeks. I found that if I put his fruit and veg onto a mirror He would eat them, just need to get him to eat them out of a bowl.
So nice to read about other peoples budgies.
