oh my what a lovely cage for baby Kenny not long now WAHOO I read somewhere on here about the cuttle bone with the metal holder that you have (i know they come like this) but some ones rusted so surrgested taking the metal off and using one of these instead www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HATCHWELLS-CUTTLEFISH-BONE-HOLDERS-TWINPACK-/260955293663?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Birds&hash=item3cc225c7dfi use these and they are great also for other foods (millet or veg ect) i adore the swing you have, where is it from? I used to use the green cage bottom cardboard thing but found it was a bit of a chore to clean after a while so now use unbleached chip shop paper 9only because i can never find newspapers) on top of the grate like starlingqueen has surrgested,i put 7 sheets down at a time, take the top one of every morning so they have a fresh one each day and maybe every other day i take the paper and grate up and hoover up all the feathers that gather underneath, then once all the sheets of paper have gone at the end of the week i do my big clean of the cage if you do decide to use newspaper or food grade chip shop paper over the grate and you want it to fit the cage properly then just use the green cardboard you already have as a stencil and then the paper will fit perfectly,i also do this,it takes a little time but works well Hope that made a bit of sense and cant wait to see little Kenny in his new lovely home Hi moogie I have some of these ready for fresh bits and bobs do u think they will work? www.petsathome.com/shop/beaks-universal-clips-119607?freeText=Cage+clips&msg=MSG_SEARCH_ONE_MATCHING_PRODUCT the swing I got from eBay it's one of a kind made with Northumbrian drift wood and pet friendly here is the link to the sellers item www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191024451104?redirect=mobileThat's a great idea to use it as a template for news paper we get free papers through the door every week so never short of a page or two here haha

From his page (All My Driftwood goes through a special multi stage cleaning process ! First they are soaked if fresh water then thourghly cleaned in a detergent bath before been cleaned in pet safe disinfectant & then washed again with fresh water Then air dried before they are kiln fired at 220c to make sure they are perfectly clean & safe for your pet)

I have used Natural Bird Company and they make things to order, toys etc.. but then I found a site that sells the kits, so now I can make new things for B, as and when, with nice coloured beads and bits..

I would check what metal he uses too. Are the fittings stainless steel?
