Hi Jayne,ha ha you did make me laugh in your intro, you sound exactly like me,on and on about Budgies and no, i don't think once Kenny is home with you will stop,it hasn't stopped me going on about my 2 in a way it has made me worse so your other half and son best be prepared for a non stop budgie world Kenny is totally adorable by the way-i bet you just cant wait x . Moogie I'm sooo excited but 4weeks seems such a long time it's like the wait for christmas when your 5 haha! I've got Gaile sending me updates via Facebook told her I need regular pics so I have a record of him growing while I can't see him she's been great and sent me lots since newyear I've got a little album going now haha Oh i can totally understand feeling like 5 at christmas ha ha Yes a photo diary is a fab idea,i have one too,its lovely to look back on ... i got my f10 from ebay i think it was £10 but it lasts for AGES so well worth the money... Cant wait to see more pics of baby Kenny

Moogie I've been looking its strange it looks like a double bottle one with fluid one without from what I can see is that right? Is the empty one to use for correct dilution? Once mixed how long does it keep and can I just spray the millet with it after it's mixed or do I need fresh batch every time? X

That's the one-the extra bottle does have stuff in but i haven't opened that side, actually not sure what that bits for, maybe some one can tell us both....I put 2 ml in to one litre of water to wash out food bowls and drinkers ect...for perches i make up a spray bottle with the same amount (to spray perches toys cage ect) and that can be kept for 6 months x

Right i have just looked at my bottle and i the smaller one is for measuring as if you squeeze the bigger side the smaller side fills up (if that makes sense) plus it does have a measure amount on the small bottle the instructions of how much you need is on the back though so i just use a small syringe to measure that i picked up from the vets

Welcome Jayne. You sound completely budgie mad like everyone else here, you're in the right place. Its lovely that you've got baby pictures to drool over until you bring him home. . Hi carol62 yeah my son has wanted a pet all his life but I'm allergic to cats, wouldn't leave a dog alone while at work and do not want rodents! I've started a new job and one of my colleagues has a budgie and she was talking about it and I fell in love with the idea listening to her, so spoke to my son he had a name picked b4 I'd even shown him any photos and so the crazy was woken! I've thought of nothing else since the beginning of dec knowing it was best to wait till new year so he had time to settle in as christmas would have been too noisy and we wouldn't have been able to spend time with him! Also needed to be able to get to Gailes as I don't drive so I've been tormenting myself for months and now it's only 3wks 6days till he is home x

He is utterly gorgeous! My budgie will be sending him love, as "Kiss Kenny" is one of his favourite phrases Kenny certainly looks pretty handtame already! Gaile is awesome! She painted Munchy's name on one of those budgie hearts that she was making back along when I asked.

You sound just like me JJ. I made up my mind about getting a budgie in August but because we had a holiday booked at the end of October I waited till we came back to start looking, the wait was a killer! I'm so excited for you,the wait will be worth it.
