well, well, well... How often I said it already? But yes, FinFin is a clown. Today he showed it again. Of course he does still not want to come out and instead of staying on the finger, he moves to the left back to the perch until he reaches the bars of the backside of the cage then he will jump either down to the food dishes or up to the next perch xD But what I figured out today, was the following:
I picked him up from the food dish, he only jumped there to get away from my "finger perch", oh wonder oh wonder, every time when I pick him up from there he stays on the finger, BUT he starts biting really hard... But then I did something, instead of biting my hand and fingers I moved him slightly towards his favorite perch near the food dishes so that his head was the same height as the perch and suddenly he did something very strange. He bit the perch very hard a few times and then began to chew and now the funny part each time he did this he began to chat and chirp like crazy. Like he enjoyed biting the perch and chat at the same time. I mean literally he was biting and chatting at the same time. Like a multitasking budgie *LOL*
What does that mean, when they bite first the fingers and then go over to the perch when nothing else is reachable and do the same thing? I mean he seemed to enjoy it the biting in the perch, since he started to head bob and chatting right away.

Sometimes biting or chewing on things is a fun game for them. Their beak/tongue is like another sensory organ.

Munchy was doing the same to my fingers yesterday morning. He's mostly grown out of biting hard, but some of them weren't gentle. He was treating my fingers the same way that he does to the toys that he likes
