Brian I am surprised! The age I'd subconsciously given you was 38:D Funny how internet does that. Some people thought I was a man for the first year I spent on the forum :/

C'mon Brian, (& BB) no posting without a moan! I think I have added another ten years on since Monday afternoon when Blue went downhill so quickly. A few showers around, so my knee is letting me know it's raining....oh duh, as if I can't look out the window!

Generally I don't have much to complain about but that doesn't mean I won't join in.... 3 weeks ago I fell down the stairs at home (kind of bounced down on my bum about 4 steps). As I was holding the banister I managed to wrench my shoulder and had a horizontal bruise across my lower back region shall we say...! I still can't sit down without pain, and I'm thinking it's probably time to go and find out what I've done now. Also being a red head I've only got to touch something and it leaves a bruise, which is very attractive!

Well all you young folk talking about being wrinklies!! I am (nearly the same age as Barrie and apart from the odd creak (sometimes my right knee gives me jip) I'm fine really. I do have an inhaler which I use because the doc told me I have asthma and wonder if that started when I first got a budgie, but it's not life threatening and doesn't stop me living a very full and 'normal' life. It's very sad that so many people have to rely on so many med's for their health but having had two major op's in my time, am thankful for the medical profession although my faith plays a big part in my life and I'm sure this affects my positive outlook and health. My thoughts and prayers for all who suffer from long term illness.
